Assistant Project Coordinator/Co-op Student (Civil Construction)

As an Assistant Project Coordinator, you will support our Project Managers & Superintendents in delivering civil projects. Your role includes maintaining contract documentation, supporting estimating, and assisting with the preparation of budgets and schedules across Design Build, Plan & Spec, and Construction Management contracts. A vehicle is required to visit project sites that are not easily accessible by public transit.

Term

8 or 12‑month term preferred, starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain purchase order, shop drawing, submittal, and plan logs.
• Select suppliers and sub‑trades and obtain quotations.
• Assist with or clarify scope of work with sub‑trades and suppliers.
• Maintain continuous focus on site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and company Health and Safety Policy.
• Attend site meetings and assist in completing project deficiencies.
• Track and inventory supplies to ensure timely arrival and tracking.

Qualifications

• Full‑time student enrolled in a related post‑secondary program (Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
• Or recent graduate from a related program who completed studies in 2026.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel is an asset.

Benefits

Pay range: $21‑$26 per hour (depending on prior experience). Location: mix of site and office in Mississauga; sites located in Guelph and York Region.
