Area Supervisor for Multi-Utility Operations

Nexus Water Group seeks an experienced Area Supervisor in Kamloops, BC. Oversee multi-utility operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and optimal performance for essential water services. As a key leader, you will supervise various utility operations, ensuring efficient maintenance and compliance to internal and external regulations. You’ll manage a team, optimize system performances, and enhance customer satisfaction while utilizing the Lucity system for maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations of multi-utility systems
• Monitor system performance against set objectives
• Direct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
• Conduct site inspections and hazard assessments Requirements:
• 5 years in water, wastewater, or utility operations
• 3 years in a supervisory management capacity
• EOCP Water Operator 3 and/or Wastewater Operator 3 preferred
• Valid driver’s license with abstract
• Knowledge of confined space safety and first aid Drive operational excellence in utility services while enhancing community wellbeing.
