Engineering Business Systems Analyst

Job Responsibility:

CGI is looking for Business Systems Analyst to work on a range of challenging assignments related to the evolution of a variety of financial applications. This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time. Candidates must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are translated into specific solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Documenting Functional requirements: Translating business needs into system specifications that Dev and QA teams can implement
• Documenting Service Specification- API
• Help client in understanding Product features better
• Understand and document Product Business rules, Matrix
• Drive estimation, review Dev and QA estimates
• Document Product Knowledge artefacts
• Product Data structure analysis and recommendations
• Review Test cases and provide inputs
• Support Root cause identification In collaboration with Development, BA and QA
• Support Design : Analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts, and writing specifications
• Support Defect analysis and resolution process
• Process Product functional enhancements , optimize a business process
• Analyze and Document workarounds
• Support Improvements by studying current practices; designing modifications.

• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Expert in SQL, knowledge of Databases and data structures
• Experience in data analysis
• Good Understanding of various application architecture
• Experience in API specification writing
• Experience in generating process documentation and reports
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Extensive experience with data visualization
• High proficiency in technical writing
