Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite)
Duration-12 Months+
Must Have
Professional Experience
- 3-5+ years as a Business Analyst – Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management, ideally within financial services or technology projects.
- Financial Services Background – Experience in fund administration, derivatives trading, or related financial operations is essential to understand the business context and technical complexities of this modernization initiative.
- Documentation & Process Mapping – Proven ability to create clear, comprehensive documentation including requirements specifications, process flows, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Project Collaboration – Experience working cross-functionally with business teams, technical architects, developers, and operations to translate requirements into deliverables.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Derivatives or Financial Systems Knowledge (preferred) – Industry-specific certifications or demonstrated expertise in derivatives trading, fund accounting, or settlement processes
