Business Analyst

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract (with strong potential for extension). This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in office, with occasional additional on-site days as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process analysis to understand business needs, pain points, and objectives.
- Perform current-state analysis to identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and deliver measurable value.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating solutions against requirements and documenting business validation test cases.
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams, technology partners, and project managers to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare high-quality BRDs, process flows, use cases, and user stories in accordance with organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, risk, and regulatory requirements across all deliverables.
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience within financial services or insurance.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Familiarity with project governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent professional certification.
