Database Geologist - Mining Sector Expertise

Join Stantec as a Senior Database Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta. This role requires expertise in data management for mining and offers a hybrid work model.
Stantec is expanding its Energy and Resources team and seeks an experienced individual to integrate geological datasets for resource estimation and mine planning. In this role, you will contribute to technical projects, ensuring high-quality data management while nurturing client relationships for business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain complex geological databases
• Implement QA/QC protocols for data integrity
• Analyze geological data with GIS and database tools
• Create geologic models using MinePlan and similar software
• Author technical reports in accordance with reporting standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Geology, Master’s preferred
• 8-10 years of database management experience
• P.Geo. or QP designation desired
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to travel to remote locations
Utilize your skills in data management and geologic modeling to impact the mining industry positively at Stantec.
