WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Design detailed mechanical components, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and validate results through engineering calculations and sound engineering principles.

• Conduct stress, fatigue, thermal, and tolerance analyses to ensure safe, reliable designs.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

• Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvements.

• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation.

• Participate in design reviews and present technical recommendations.

• Ensure all work complies with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering team members as required.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Use your mechanical design expertise to develop innovative solutions for industrial or heavy equipment applications.

• Apply your SolidWorks experience to produce accurate 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.

• Demonstrate your ability to perform engineering calculations and validate simulation results through sound engineering principles.

• Bring strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to complex mechanical design challenges.

• Contribute to a collaborative engineering team through your effective communication and technical expertise.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.

• Registered, or eligible to register, as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT); progress toward P.Eng. is considered an asset.

• Previous experience designing heavy equipment, industrial machinery, mining equipment, or mobile equipment is considered an asset.

• Engineers with strong design fundamentals and mechanical aptitude, including recent graduates with exceptional academic performance, are encouraged to apply.
