Clinical Research Associate

Clinical Research Associate II position at ICON overseeing clinical trial monitoring for respiratory and cardiovascular studies in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves site management, protocol compliance, and leading technical monitoring activities while supporting cross-functional teams and providing guidance to site staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites for adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP standards
- Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve operational issues, and provide support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accurate data collection and timely reporting
- Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs on trial conduct standards
- Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
- Extensive experience as Clinical Research Associate with strong clinical trial process knowledge
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously
- Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and clinical trial software
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to drive compliance
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% as required
