HRIS Specialist (Workday)

I am partnered with a leading international food and beverage business, who are looking to hire an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong Workday experience. You will play a critical role in the growth and optimization of its global HR technology landscape.
This position is ideal for a Workday professional who enjoys combining system administration, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and strategic HR technology initiatives. You'll work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance employee experience and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Workday HCM
- Manage system configuration, reporting, EIB data loads, and day-to-day platform administration
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Gather business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend scalable solutions
- Support Workday releases, upgrades, enhancements, and system testing activities
- Develop and maintain reporting, audits, and data integrity processes
- Deliver user training, troubleshooting support, and knowledge transfer across multiple business locations
- Create and maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, training materials, and job aids
- Lead and support change management initiatives related to HR systems and processes
- Stay current on Workday functionality and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and French
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience supporting Workday in an HRIS, HR Systems, or HR Technology capacity
- Module Experience: HCM, Reporting, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning and Security
- Hands on experience with EIB Data Loads
- Experience working in complex, multi-site or global environments
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
- Proven business analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement capabilities
- Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, testing, and release management
