Excel as an IT Infrastructure Specialist, focusing on distributed computing projects and advanced system implementation. Drive innovation and assist in training initiatives for enhanced research and teaching experiences. As a specialist, you will implement and manage impactful infrastructure projects to support both academic and research demands. Your role requires collaboration with teaching staff and external industrial clients to ensure project success. Analyze, design, and maintain technological systems while fostering team engagement and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement distributed computing infrastructure
- Analyze and design technological approaches and methods
- Collaborate on departmental initiatives and third-party integrations
- Develop maintenance and verification programs for systems
- Train users to utilize infrastructure effectively
- Bachelor's in IT, Software, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in research or teaching
- Proficient in managing Linux servers and networking
- Knowledge of containerization and virtualization
- Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills
