What are we looking for? We are looking for a Marketing Specialist, Retail to execute high-impact initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive guest engagement, and support revenue growth for Ribeye Butcher Shop and T-Bones Fresh Meal Market. You will coordinate campaigns, events, and promotions, ensuring consistent messaging across all digital and physical touchpoints. Collaborating closely with the Director Marketing, internal teams, and external agencies, you will ensure clear communication and timely execution across all channels.

What do you bring? You bring 3+ years of marketing, promotions, or event coordination experience—preferably in hospitality or retail—alongside the strong project management skills needed to deliver multiple campaigns simultaneously. You are a creative, solutions-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, and email marketing. You have hands-on experience managing customer loyalty programs, updating WordPress and Shopify websites, and utilizing in-store signage systems. Strong copywriting abilities, a solid grasp of brand voice, and familiarity with media buying and experiential marketing round out your profile.

What will you be doing?
As our Marketing Specialist, Retail, your key responsibilities will include:

• Campaigns & Promotions: Executing national, regional, and local campaigns, managing co-branded promotions, and updating digital assets across Clickspace, WordPress, and Shopify to communicate offers to customers.
• Events & Contests: Planning in-store activations, tracking execution KPIs, and leading national and local giveaways from ideation through fulfillment.
• Email & Loyalty: Building and scheduling on-brand email campaigns, managing our customer loyalty program via Marsello, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining CASL-compliant segmented lists.
• Store Support & New Store Openings (NSO): Drafting internal execution communications, acting as a key point of contact for store teams, and coordinating marketing logistics (signage, swag, digital assets) for brand rollouts and store launches.
• Administration: Tracking campaign engagement metrics, assisting with budget and invoice processing, and managing project timelines across multiple retail brands.

This primarily in-office role is based at our Head Office (1112 95 Street SW, Edmonton, AB, T6X 0A7).
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with the understanding that occasional after-hours support or travel may be required to deliver on events and new store activations.
