Cafe Operations Supervisor

Job Responsibility:

Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cafe Store Manager to lead our new Bakery-Cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cafe management, with a focus on recruiting, training, and developing staff to achieve operational excellence. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store operations to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of customer service.
• Recruit, interview, and train new staff members while fostering a positive team environment.
• Develop training programs that enhance employee skills in sales techniques and product knowledge in Bakery products & Coffee Bar service.
• Manage inventory levels, including buying decisions and cash handling procedures to optimize profitability.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Scheduling to meet labour costs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized store layout.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance the shopping experience.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in store management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Barista or Cafe experience
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent recruiting skills with experience in interviewing candidates for various positions.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Proficient in cash handling processes and financial reporting.
• Strong sales acumen with a focus on achieving results through effective leadership.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00-$72,800.00 per year
