Assistant Operations Manager
We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a consumer goods manufacturing facility in the Victoria, BC area. This role is responsible for making sure operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards for quality and cleanliness.

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a consumer goods manufacturing facility in the Victoria, BC area. This role is responsible for making sure operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards for quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly production.
- Supervise operations staff and assign daily tasks.
- Monitor operations to ensure orders are completed on time.
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Ensure employees follow company procedures and safety requirements.
- Monitor equipment and arrange maintenance or repairs when needed.
- Identify production problems and find practical solutions.
- Track production output, waste, labour, and other key operating measures.
- Help improve processes, productivity, and overall efficiency.
- Experience in consumer goods (food, beverage or related) manufacturing, production, or operations.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Post secondary in operations is an asset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Good communication and people-management skills.
- Comfortable working with production schedules, inventory, and reporting.
