BC Pharmacy is looking for a Casual Staff Pharmacist for a one-year contract. Your role will include verifying prescriptions, mentoring pharmacy personnel, and handling patient inquiries. A commitment to excellent customer service is crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of dispensed medications and labeling
- Ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians' work
- Counsel patients effectively regarding their prescriptions
- Train and guide novice pharmacists and technicians
- Carry out additional assigned duties as necessary
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Preferred experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Valid BC pharmacist license essential
