Internal Advisor/Dispatcher

Southlake Ford Lincoln is looking for a Internal Advisor/Dispatcher.

The Internal Advisor/Dispatcher is responsible for guiding the workflow through the shop and assigning the right tech to the right jobs. The Internal Advisor/Dispatcher is also responsible for ensuing the New and Used Car work orders are written and closed properly ensuring proper billing, tech hours and operation codes are used.

Job Duties:

• Provide front-line customer service for the Service and Sales Department.
• Work with Advisors, Sales staff and techs to address their questions or concerns.
• Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and stay updated on the progress of their repairs.
• Coordinate with service technicians, detailers and advisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs.
• Complete a follow-up to Sales staff to ensure that sold vehicle are completed on time for delivery.
• Providing repair recommendations and accurate estimates of repair costs and time required for repairs or maintenance.
• Ensure high standards of satisfaction by addressing and resolving concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain records of all services performed and ensure that all documentation is complete.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Record and report tech hours to payroll and Service Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.

Successful Candidates Possess:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, Post-secondary education is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Dispatcher or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Knowledge of PBS/Reynolds an asset.
