Graduate Assistant - Traffic Operations Course

Support Dr. Bhagwant Persaud in teaching with the Traffic Operations and Management course as a Graduate Assistant. Engage with students through tutorials, lab sessions, and assessments in this enriching academic role. This position is open to enrolled Master’s or PhD candidates, with priority for PhD students. Responsibilities include developing assignments, providing lectures, and facilitating tutorial sessions. Faculty support and attendance at supervisory meetings will be key to ensuring smooth delivery of content and adherence to university protocols. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and grade course assignments and exams
• Facilitate tutorials and lab sessions effectively
• Assist in lectures and hands-on lab work
• Participate in regular meetings with the Supervising Instructor
• Maintain confidentiality of student communications Requirements:
• Enrolled in a relevant Master’s or PhD program
• Previous instructional experience preferred
• Specific Civil Engineering experience desired
• Completion of safety certifications required
• Proficient in computer use and online delivery Contribute your expertise in Civil Engineering while enhancing student learning in the Traffic Operations and Management course.
