Toronto Regional Safety Manager Role

Be a key player in aviation safety as the Regional Safety Manager at NAV CANADA, Toronto. This role combines strategic oversight with active collaboration to uphold safety standards in hybrid settings. As a vital link between Safety & Quality and flight operations, you will guide regional units in safety and quality activities while addressing emerging risks. Your experience in Safety Management Systems will be essential in providing support during safety investigations and tracking performance indicators to promote continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders on safety alignment initiatives
- Offer guidance on risk management and safety promotions
- Ensure effective safety assurance and reporting processes
- Conduct investigations and assess safety events
- Facilitate training and provide ongoing support for safety programs
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation-focused roles
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices
- Expertise in Human Factors/Aviation Safety preferred
- Experience in a matrix management environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
