Nurse Clinician Role in Patient Care
Vancouver Coastal Health
Provide quality nursing leadership as a Nurse Clinician with Vancouver Coastal Health in Vancouver, BC. Join the Pre-Admission Centre to enhance patient care through teamwork and expertise. This position supports the implementation of minimum Nurse to Patient Ratios (mNPRs) within a collaborative healthcare team. You will serve as a clinical resource, promoting excellence in patient care while practicing within the standards set forth by the BCCNM. Your contributions will directly improve the healthcare experience for clients and families. Key Responsibilities:
- Promote excellence in patient/client care
- Act as a clinical resource for the care team
- Support direct patient/client and family interactions
- Lead educational initiatives based on evidence
- Follow organizational policies and ethical standards
- Registered Nurse with BCCNM registration
- Three years of related clinical experience
- Specialized nursing certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Valid BC Driver's License may be required
