Medical Advisor, Multiple Myeloma

AbbVie seeks a Medical Advisor for Multiple Myeloma to support clinical research and medical affairs activities. The role, based in Montreal or Markham, involves developing medical strategy, managing clinical studies, and serving as a scientific liaison across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute medical strategy aligned with brand plan
- Support clinical study feasibility, site identification, and protocol review
- Liaise with commercial groups, investigators, and external experts on initiatives
- Monitor scientific literature and regulatory compliance across ongoing projects
- Lead evidence generation planning and support product portfolio integration
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, or equivalent doctorate degree
- Two to three years of experience in Multiple Myeloma
- Three to five years of drug development and clinical research experience
- Previous customer-facing scientific role in healthcare industry
- Advanced English proficiency; French proficiency preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with technology
- Valid driver's license and passport; ability to travel 20-30% annually
