Great contract opportunity! Our client, a well established firm in Toronto, is looking for an experienced consultant to assist with an Internal Audit project. This role requires someone with a strong background in audit and understanding of NI 52-109/SOX guidance and requirements. This role will assist the project leader in all areas including staff management. The contract role is for 8 months.

Responsibilities
Key aspects of this role include assisting the project lead in managing staff, conducting walk-throughs and documentation of process flows. You will be assigned additional tasks related to the project. Also, you will dealing with and managing multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you possess a CPA designation or another recognized accounting accreditation. You also possess a minimum 10-15 years of experience in Internal/external audits. You are also knowledgeable and proficient with risks and controls concepts, in line with NI 52-109 /SOX guidance and requirements along with strong understanding of ICFR. Excellent analytical skills to evaluate controls for design effectiveness
