Databricks Solutions Architect in Ottawa

Lead data-driven innovation as a Solutions Architect with Databricks in Ottawa. Collaborate with dynamic teams to develop cutting-edge architectures that redefine data solutions for clients. On the Canada team focused on Digital Native customers, you will report to the Field Engineering Manager while leveraging your over five years of experience. Your role will involve consulting on big data architectures and creating impactful proof of concepts that elevate our clients' capabilities. By working with sales teams, you will guide customers to understand best practices and navigate competitive landscapes effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in sales collaborations
- Build and implement data engineering solutions
- Assist customers in validating their integrations
- Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects on projects
- Engage with open-source Databricks projects
- 5+ years in data engineering or consulting roles
- Proficiency in distributed data systems
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud service solutions
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
