Ciena Focused Senior Network Architect Ottawa
Telence Solutions
Join our team as a Senior Network Architect with in-depth knowledge of Ciena routing and switching platforms. This position requires a hands‑on approach to designing large-scale IP and Ethernet networks. We are looking for a candidate with at least 8 years of network engineering experience and expertise in Ciena's 31xx, 51xx, and 81xx product families.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-scale IP/MPLS network solutions
- Maintain design standards and reference architectures
- Create and review HLD/LLD, topology diagrams, and models
- Drive network modernization initiatives and platform migrations
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex network issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- A minimum of 8 years in architecture or network engineering
- Expertise with Ciena routing platforms and Navigator NCS
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies
- Experience with network automation and scripting tools
