About the role:

We are actively seeking an OT Specialists to join our team. The OT Specialist is responsible for providing reliable, consistent, and timely operational technology (OT) support and expertise to Côté Gold. Working collaboratively with operations, maintenance, IT, and external partners, the role ensures the stability, performance, and availability of OT systems that support safe and efficient mining and processing operations. The OT Specialist is committed to operational excellence, proactively resolving issues, minimizing downtime, and maximizing OT system uptime in alignment with established service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs). The role will report to the Supervisor, IT/OT and work a rotational schedule at the Cote Gold Mine Site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable, timely, and effective operational technology (OT) support to ensure continuity of mining and process plant operations, including full support to control room environments.
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot OT infrastructure, including wireless, LTE, switching, routing, servers, and Active Directory, to maintain system availability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, working closely with operations to configure user specific systems, applications, and devices.
• Manage OT service requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate, timely processing, appropriate escalation, and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate OT records, inventories, backups, recovery processes, and equipment repair histories in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Coordinate and oversee OT vendors, consultants, third party services, and critical spare inventory to support operational requirements.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and collaborating with others to enhance OT reliability, uptime, and performance against KPIs.
• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to support IT/OT reliability, mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous learning and improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Knowledge:

• College diploma in an OT related field.
• Completion of a relevant specialized training program / certification such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP and Microsoft MCSA or MCSE is considered an asset.

Relevant Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience in supporting an autonomous operation or gold mining operation is considered an asset.
• Proficient with CAT Minestar, OSIsoft, Schneider DCS and other related systems.

Salary Range: $100,000-$150,000 The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
