Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Server Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house staff by ensuring that guests receive exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn more about the food service industry.
Duties
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables and clearing dishes.
- Support food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads or desserts, as needed.
- Ensure that all food safety and handling guidelines are followed to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and assisting with any needs they may have.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food items.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and restaurant policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
