Territory Sales Representative

Please note: this role can be supported remotely from within the Eastern Ontario area. 

At Syngenta, we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support this challenge, we are currently seeing a Territory Sales Representative, Eastern Ontario . Territory between Bowmanville and Quebec border.

• Implementing the NK Brand strategy with customers and within Syngenta to deliver the core objectives: Differentiate, Innovate, Outperform, and Leverage
• Supporting and developing the NK / Enogen Brand reseller’s sales organizations while maximizing profitable net growth for the business
• Deliver NK / Enogen seed brand campaigns and offers to targeted customers through our channel partners
• Act as a steward of the NK / Enogen seed portfolio through sound agronomic product placement recommendations while managing in-field concerns as needed in partnership with Agronomist.
• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory and sales area
• Develop a profound understanding of customer needs via consultative selling, recognized expertise, and trust with customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field, or equivalent agriculture industry experience.
• 2+ years of agronomic sales experience within agriculture, agribusiness, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of farming operations, crop production, and grower needs.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships, influence decisions, and drive sales results.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data to support business decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with growers, retailers, and other agricultural stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel 50-60% throughout the Eastern Ontario territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual French/English is considered an asset.0jjb vv

The annual base salary for this position is CAD 96,000- 144,000.  This range reflects market rates and is ultimately determined by several factors including the candidate’s skill, experience, and relevant education.
