Lead Direct Sales Representative

This is an outside sales opportunity servicing North America. The day-to-day activities consists of:

• Responsible for developing new clients in the Weather Services business through strategic prospecting, relationship building and solution-selling, with a focus on Data Services, Utilities, Telecom, and Local Governments
• Understands strategic direction of customers to grow existing accounts and develops sales strategy to meet long-term customer needs.
• Develops strong relationships with key buyers and decision-makers and maintains executive level relationships with accounts.
• Manages local pipeline and forecast for accounts and proactively identifies trends.
• Drives collaboration with internal resources to identify market penetration potential and maximize opportunities.
• Assists with customer retention.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 12+ years of software or “SaaS” sales and territory management experience
• Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and solution selling with the added in-depth knowledge of key industries impacted by weather and the importance of weather risk mitigation.
• Ability to own and execute key growth activities, identify new business opportunities, and engage on commercial activities with current customers
• Proven track record of developing relationships at the highest level of large, complex organizations.
• Must be aggressive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Strong knowledge of working with a CRM system - Salesforce.com preferred
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Demonstrated high performance in a remote environment.
