Position: Full-Time
Our client, a well-established and internationally recognized manufacturer of premium entrance automation and commercial building solutions, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join their growing Ontario team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated sales professional who has experience in the commercial or industrial construction industry and enjoys developing relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and building owners. If you have sold construction products, architectural products, building materials, glazing systems, doors and hardware, access control, or similar technical solutions, we'd like to hear from you.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business throughout Southern Ontario by promoting innovative entrance solutions to the commercial construction market.
You will work closely with architects, general contractors, glazing contractors, distributors, consultants, and facility owners to identify opportunities from the specification stage through project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across Southern Ontario.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, distributors, and end users.
- Identify projects during the design and specification stages.
- Present technical product solutions and provide product education.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on project opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal estimating and customer support teams.
- Conduct regular customer visits and job site meetings.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline activity.
- Meet or exceed established sales objectives.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience within commercial or industrial construction.
- Experience selling architectural or commercial building products is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of commercial construction practices, specifications, and project bidding.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-driven with excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working independently while managing a regional territory.
- Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout Southern Ontario.
