Role Overview: The Head of Product Experience, FC, will partner closely with senior production and creative leaders to ensure that all FC player experiences exceed player expectations, validated through large and small scale playtesting, research, competitive analysis and understanding the community . You will apply your in-depth knowledge of football (soccer) and game development to objectively evaluate experiential quality , ensuring gameplay, modes, and live services authentically reflect the sport, its culture, and evolving fan expectations across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead, grow and evolve the Experiential Quality function within the FC franchise, building a team relentlessly focused on driving positive impact on quality and player experience.
- Support the strategic planning and execution for new and current experiences within the EA Sports FC ecosystem. This involves understanding player needs and market trends to innovate and deliver compelling features and gameplay.
- Work closely with the FC Product team to establish a quality assessment framework that translates player experience goals into actionable insights that feed back into the development process in a cohesive and streamlined manner.
- Champion a rigorous, player-centric quality approach by leveraging research, player sentiment, and data to guide every decision about experiential quality.
- Closely support execution and implementation of strategies designed to identify, acquire and engage new cohorts of players working with the Consumer Insights and the PX Research to expand the reach and appeal of EA Sports FC.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partner teams and contribute significantly to the broader Product Center to align experiential quality initiatives with overall business and product objectives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of game production, game design or game product leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Past experience with football-related games and products strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of design thinking, user experience, and systems-level product development.
- Influence-oriented. Excel at collaborating with other leaders such as Executive Producers and Lead Producers, guiding the collective group to the best action, decision, or result. You have experience working with creative leaders, UXR, marketing, and quality verification teams.
- Strong track record of influencing executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Analytical mindset with hands-on experience with development tools, metrics, and risk management frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
