Part Time Marketing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Part Time Marketing Specialist based in Canada.

This is a versatile marketing role for a creative professional who enjoys combining design, content, social media, and email marketing. You will help strengthen brand visibility by creating engaging, on-brand content across multiple digital channels. The role offers hands-on exposure to both creative execution and performance measurement. You will work across social campaigns, newsletters, web content, and sales enablement initiatives. Success will require a balance of strong visual instincts, clear writing, organization, and curiosity about marketing performance. You will also have opportunities to use AI tools and emerging optimization practices to improve content workflows. This is a flexible opportunity for someone who wants meaningful ownership while working across a broad range of marketing activities.

• Design engaging graphics, short-form videos, reels, email assets, website visuals, and other marketing collateral using tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Plan, create, organize, and schedule social media content across relevant platforms while maintaining consistent messaging and brand presentation.
• Write, edit, and refine copy for social media posts, blog content, promotional materials, and other marketing communications.
• Draft, design, and schedule marketing emails and newsletters, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with campaign objectives.
• Monitor key marketing performance indicators, including engagement, email open rates, and click-through rates, and use insights to inform future content and campaigns.
• Maintain brand consistency across visual assets, written communications, social channels, and marketing materials.
• Support campaign planning, coordination, and content calendar management to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Partner with Sales by creating campaign materials and content that support prospecting, outreach, and lead-generation initiatives.
• Explore AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve content creation, ideation, research, and marketing workflows.
• Contribute to emerging marketing practices, including answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization.

Requirements

• Experience in marketing, graphic design, social media management, content creation, or a related field.
• Proficiency with design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with social media management and scheduling platforms.
• Experience working with CRM platforms such as Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and the ability to create and manage email campaigns.
• A portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating strong design, content creation, or social media capabilities.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketing activities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and an understanding of brand consistency.
• Hands-on experience using large language models such as ChatGPT or Claude for content creation and workflow support is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AEO and GEO practices is a plus.
• Basic photography, video editing, or short-form content creation experience is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or native social media analytics tools is an advantage.
• A proactive, creative, and adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and marketing techniques.
