Our client is looking to hire for a Materials Analys t with understanding of complex supply chains and inventory control system
s.
Responsible f or supporting production scheduling – press shop and assembly - optimizing supply chains, managing inventories; identifying ways to reduce costs while providing support to ensure safety, quality, productivity and delivery requirements that exceed customer expectatio
ns.
RESPONSIBILIT
- IES:
Coordinates and schedules on time production following established proce - duresAnalyze and forecast material require ments based on production schedules and business
- needsMin/max inventory level r eview and provide suggestions for adjustment to align inventory level
- goalsExcess and obsolete inventory analysis and suggested inventory usage strategy to minimize scrap inve
- ntoryCon duct regular audits of material invent ories to report on stock levels and discrepa
- nciesCoordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of mate
- rialsDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and
- termsMonitor and report on key performance indicators related to material manag
- ementUtilize software systems to track and manage material data effect
- ivelyIdentify and implement MRP process improve
- mentsPrepare detailed reports and analysis for senior management to aid in decision-m
- akingParticipating in team problem solving activities and process improvement activ
- itiesPrepare Physical inventory readiness (basement storage clean up against reserve item
- list)Works in compliance with IATF16949 and ISO14001 stan
dards
QUALIFICA
- TIONS:
At least 3-5 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing Supply Chain Man - agementAny and all licenses and training relating to the fol
- lowing:Lean Manufacturing, APICS, CPIM, &

- systemsSAP experience r
