Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our Finance team as a Sr, Financial & Regulatory Reporting with our banking client. This role will support financial and regulatory reporting activities for Canadian legal entities and play a key role in ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory teams while contributing to process improvements and strategic finance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support IFRS and US GAAP financial close processes for Canadian legal entities.
- Review and validate Canadian financial and regulatory reporting submissions.
- Assist with regulatory examinations and internal/external audit activities.
- Support preparation and review of year-end audited financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and evolving regulatory reporting requirements.
- Investigate financial reporting matters and respond to inquiries from internal teams.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on reporting processes.
- Participate in finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred.
- CPA designation required.
- 5+ years of experience in financial and regulatory reporting within the financial services or banking industry.
- Strong understanding of banking products and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience with IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence across teams.

A detail-oriented finance leader with strong regulatory knowledge, banking industry experience, and the ability to manage complex reporting requirements in a fast-paced environment.
