mission‑critical investment technology platforms. Their environment supports core investment functions including trading, market data, portfolio management, risk, and investment operations. Reliability, controlled change, and clear operational readiness are essential to how technology supports the business.
Your new role
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Applications, you will focus on
operational documentation and support readiness for business‑critical investment systems. You’ll work closely with application owners, investment technology teams, and operations to ensure systems are clearly documented, supportable, and resilient. This role is less about building infrastructure pipelines and more about
capturing how systems are built, supported, monitored, and recovered, ensuring teams can respond quickly and safely during incidents. Clear, accurate documentation is a foundational requirement in this environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Production Support, or Systems Engineering
- Hands‑on experience supporting business‑critical platforms, ideally in financial services, investment, trading, or market data environments
- Strong experience creating and maintaining
technical and operational documentation
Technical & Operational Knowledge
- Incident management and production support processes
- Monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness concepts
- Windows environments and application dependencies
- Understanding of Tier 1 / Tier 2 / SRE support models
