Director of Global Transaction Tax A&M
Alvarez & Marsal
Lead A&M's Global Transaction Tax team as a Director, focusing on complex tax strategies and client relations. Utilize your expertise in tax planning to drive success across transactions. At Alvarez & Marsal, the Director role combines leadership and deep technical tax knowledge with hands-on client engagement. You'll collaborate with skilled professionals to deliver exceptional tax advice throughout the transaction lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have significant mergers & acquisitions experience, with a strong emphasis on developing lasting client relationships and managing detailed financial reviews. Key Responsibilities:
- Apply complex tax concepts in client scenarios
- Provide timely and quality tax planning approaches
- Conduct due diligence on tax documents and financials
- Review tax implications of financial models and agreements
- Coordinate with various tax and financial teams
- CPA, JD, or advanced degrees in taxation
- Minimum 7 years in M&A tax at a leading firm
- Proficient in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
