Lead safety initiatives as AirSprint's Aviation Safety Director, focusing on quality standards and operational safety. Collaborate closely with the President & CEO to drive safety culture and policies. AirSprint is seeking a seasoned Aviation Safety Director to oversee comprehensive safety management. In this role, you will mitigate risks through strategic planning and enhance safety culture via effective training and reporting. Your leadership will directly impact safety operations and contribute to board-level discussions. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive safety oversight of operations
- Deliver safety updates to the board quarterly
- Formulate and implement safety policies effectively
- Lead the management of quality and corrective actions
- Direct aviation incident investigations and analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety Management
- Minimum five years in aviation safety roles
- At least three years in upper management position
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Strong understanding of Transport Canada regulations
