Interpro Pipe & Steel Safety Manager Position

Take the lead in safety management at Interpro Pipe & Steel in Calgary. As the Safety Manager, you will implement programs to ensure a secure workplace and regulatory compliance. In your role as Safety Manager at Interpro Pipe & Steel, you'll oversee safety initiatives aimed at fostering a robust safety culture. Responsibilities include developing training, conducting audits, and guiding operations to meet safety management standards. You'll engage with all levels of staff to improve safety practices while managing compliance with Contractor Safety Policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement safety training and programs
- Conduct incident investigations and audits for safety compliance
- Evaluate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage
- Collaborate with management on loss prevention strategies
- Maintain required safety documentation and records
- B.S. in Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in safety program management
- Strong experience in manufacturing settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of risk assessment practices
