Behind our 165 rooms and suites lies an organization that emphasizes both operational rigor and flexible decision-making.  We are looking for a Reception Supervisor with a natural leadership ability to orchestrate our welcome operations and oversee our front-line teams.

Your role is pivotal here: you bridge the gap between upper management and on-ground operations by actively participating in the daily management of the department. Your mission is to exceed customer expectations while providing your team with the necessary support and guidance to accomplish their work. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources Management:

• Supervise, motivate, and assist the teams (receptionists, night auditors, and porters) in carrying out their daily tasks;

• Assist management in recruitment, training, scheduling, and approving hours;

• Ensure performance evaluation, conflict management, and provide ongoing training to employees.

Operations and Standards:

• Oversee the smooth running of daily activities and the strict application of service standards;

• Participate in developing and implementing new operational policies and procedures;

• Support the valet service during peak periods, including vehicle movement.

Customer Experience:

• Manage arrivals and departures smoothly and professionally;

• Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints diplomatically to guarantee effective resolution.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Mobilizing leadership and a strong interest in teamwork;

• Positive personality, initiative, and exemplary rigor;

• Excellent stress and priority management skills;

• Neat presentation and impeccable professionalism.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hospitality, including 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role;

• Education: Hotel management training (an asset);

• Technical: Valid driver's license (essential) and proficiency in computer software (Mews, Excel);

• Availability: Great flexibility required to cover varied shifts based on operational needs (day/evening), including weekends and holidays;

• Languages: Excellent command of French (daily working language). Operational proficiency in English is necessary to communicate with our international clientele;

• Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.  We do not recruit internationally.
