Nurse for Injectable Therapies at Green Shield-NKS

Elevate patient care at Green Shield-NKS, specializing in injectable and infused medications. As a key Nurse, you'll provide high-quality service to patients with chronic conditions. Green Shield-NKS is seeking a Nurse dedicated to exceptional patient service and proficient in intravenous therapy. You'll monitor patients, administer vaccinations, and ensure safety and adherence to best practices. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, clinics, and hospitals to deliver a complete patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service aligned with organization values
- Administer intravenous therapy and monitor care closely
- Conduct intramuscular vaccinations and TB skin tests
- Take action to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Report Adverse Events as necessary
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience with IVs
- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current BLS certification; ACLS is an asset
- Proficiency in English, verbal and written
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle needed
