Injection Mold Supervisor

Responsibilities

Supervise staff during manufacturing process and lead other employees
Planning, managing and directing of the Molding Operations
Ensuring timely completion of maintenance work and mold changes.
Verification of job cycle times, scrap control and downtime reduction.
Timely follow up on tooling and maintenance work orders.
Production floor housekeeping & 5S activities.
Lead daily shift production meeting.
Report on Molding shift performance
Maintain quality and productivity production records
Report production status, and other appropriate metrics.
Investigate quality issues, process delays, material shortages, tool or equipment problems and take corrective action.
Assist with preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment
Analyze equipment requirements and recommend replacement or new equipment as required.

Requirements

Minimum 2 year Technical diploma or equivalent work experience.
Require two years of technical experience in plastic injection molding with ability to troubleshoot.
3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in an injection molding environment.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Experience in supervising process in plastic injection molding
