Regional Strategic Site Partnership Lead (Senior Director)

Our partner is looking for a Regional Strategic Site Partnership Lead (Senior Director) based in Canada. This senior leadership role is responsible for building and strengthening strategic partnerships with clinical research sites and site organizations across an assigned region and therapeutic area. You will serve as a trusted enterprise-level partner, engaging senior and C-suite stakeholders to create long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. The role combines strategic relationship management, clinical development expertise, operational excellence, and business acumen. You will help improve clinical trial execution by strengthening collaboration, reducing startup timelines, and establishing clear quality and performance expectations. Working across a complex, matrixed environment, you will align internal teams and external partners around shared priorities and measurable outcomes. Your influence will help advance patient-centric, diverse, efficient, and high-quality clinical research programs. This is a remote, field-based opportunity suited to an experienced leader who thrives on ambiguity, innovation, and meaningful business impact. Accountabilities - Identify high-performing clinical research sites and organizations aligned with therapeutic-area needs and strategic priorities. - Build, develop, and maintain long-term business-to-business partnerships with research sites and site networks, including relationships at the C-suite and governance level. - Serve as an enterprise point of contact for strategic site partners, providing tailored engagement models, senior-level access, and transparent communication. - Collaborate with internal clinical development, country operations, site operations, and other cross-functional teams to implement regional partnership strategies and support portfolio execution. - Develop mutually beneficial partnership opportunities that combine organizational strengths and resources to accelerate clinical development and create greater value.

- Support innovation initiatives, new capabilities, and stronger quality standards across strategic site partnerships. - Partner with operational teams to reduce timelines associated with clinical trial startup activities and improve execution efficiency. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external decision-makers, proactively identifying opportunities and resolving enterprise-level concerns. - Develop strategies to address service issues, mitigate risks, and maintain strong customer satisfaction and partner relationships. - Establish and monitor KPIs for strategic partners and site networks, using performance data and annual assessments to guide continuous improvement and future partnership decisions. - Provide leadership, guidance, and influence across teams while helping colleagues achieve meaningful outcomes and broader business impact. Requirements - Bachelor's, master's, or equivalent degree in a medical, scientific, technical, or healthcare-related discipline. - 12+ years of broad experience in drug development, clinical trial conduct, and/or global clinical trial operations, with progressive experience toward senior leadership. - Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and clinical trial operational standards. - Sufficient therapeutic-area expertise to engage credibly with healthcare professionals and clinical research stakeholders. - Demonstrated success developing executive-level relationships and influencing C-suite stakeholders within the healthcare industry. - Proven experience managing complex business-to-business relationships with healthcare systems, research organizations, or strategic partners. - Experience establishing, negotiating, and managing complex strategic contracts and partnership arrangements.
