Quality Assurance Engineer I Role at TD

TD Bank

TD is hiring a Quality Engineer I in Toronto, Ontario, dedicated to enhancing software quality through automated and manual testing techniques. This full-time role demands expertise in various testing methodologies. In this role, you are tasked with designing and executing comprehensive tests throughout the SDLC. You will be responsible for automation framework development, defect management, and providing data-driven quality reporting. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to meet established milestones while ensuring adherence to quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and run tests that ensure software reliability
Implement test automation aligned with CI/CD practices
Define test data requirements and manage environments
Collaborate with teams to analyze testing results
Capture and communicate project risks and lessons learned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
2-3 years of experience in software testing
Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium
Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect management
Knowledge of AI-assisted testing techniques
