Responsibilities
Monitor rejects and credit holds to maintain smooth processing
• Oversee Pars to ensure all shipments are released timely and accurately
• Coordinate line loads for effective distribution
• Address and resolve all shipment delays
• Communicate with carriers, shippers or importers for missing information or investigate using web searches
• Liaise with clients, carriers and CBSA
• Ensure clients instructions or SOP’s are consistently followed
• Manage E29B's, Hand Carries and Charters as required

• Submit uncertified parts for approval as necessary
• Provide assistance with rating and checking of entries when requested
• Provide assistance internally and externally to customers on the CARM client portal
• Oversee shift operations and provide training as needed
• Train staff on handling rejects
• Understand SWI requirements and offer support to staff as needed
• Ensure all emails and requests are responded to by all staff timely
• Arrange for shift coverage during vacation and absences
• Handle all requests from all clients/carriers and CBSA that are beyond the scope of release agents
• Assist the Brokerage Manager with overseeing a team of CPC Toronto employees, including delegating, training, coaching, and
planning
• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices
• Submit feedback on employees to assist the manager for evaluation purposes
• Submit ideas to improve and enhance operational efficiencies and accuracy
• Minimize errors through regular training and monitoring of staff
• Maintain open lines of communication between management, staff, and customers in a respectful, effective and professional
manner
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, objectives and business ethics
• Adhere to various customs regulations as well as the Partners in Protection (PIP) program with the Canada Border Services
Agency

Qualifications
Understanding of CBSA procedures and timelines
• Ability to exercise good judgement and understanding to fix rejects
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, especially in Excel
• Principles and practices of training and providing work direction
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
• Good understanding of ITMR4
• Leading and listening skills
