Job Responsibility:
Job Summary The Admissions Officer plays a critical role in shaping CCAB's future by attracting and enrolling a diverse and talented student body. You'll manage the admissions process from inquiry through contract, engage with prospective students, and represent the college at recruitment events.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the entire admissions processfrom initial inquiry to enrollmentensuring a seamless, student-centered experience.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate applicants to assess fit and readiness.
- Issue letters of offer and enrollment contracts that clearly state PTIRU-mandated refund policies and program details Private Training Institutions.
- Organize and participate in recruitment events, including college fairs, open houses and campus tours.
- Collaborate with faculty, marketing and recruitment partners to develop compelling promotional materials.
- Maintain accurate, PIPA-compliant applicant records in our CRM/SIS.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone and in-person visits.
- Analyze admissions data to identify trends and recommend improvements to recruitment strategies.
- Assist with cross-campus initiatives and special projects as requested by management.
What You'll Bring
Required:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education or related field
- Previous admissions experience in a BC private post-secondary institution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with admissions software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Provide a clear vulnerable-sector criminal record check
- Complete PIPA Foundations (OIPC BC Webinar 1 - 10 Basic Obligations under PIPA; ~60 mins) by your first day of work Private Training Institutions
Desirable:
- Knowledge of college admissions processes and trends
- Familiarity with CRM/SIS platforms
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
