Senior Director, Business Growth at NordSpace

Become a key player in NordSpace as the Senior Director of Business Growth. This position in Ottawa is focused on transforming the aerospace landscape through strategic partnerships and business development. You will be responsible for establishing a revenue pipeline and building valuable government relationships to support NordSpace's mission. This role requires a robust understanding of the space and defence industries, with a strong focus on engaging with high-level stakeholders and generating contracts. Resilience and a strategic mindset are essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage top government agencies for funding and contract opportunities
- Develop the commercial sales pipeline from lead generation to close
- Manage proposal development and RFP submissions
- Create a strong partner ecosystem for project collaboration
- Coordinate with teams to align business development priorities
- At least 10 years in business development or related fields
- 5+ years in the aerospace or defence industries
- Proven ability to drive business growth and close deals
- Experience with government procurement processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
