Drafting Clerk

As part of our continued growth and facility modernization, we are seeking a Drafting Clerk to support our Engineering Department by preparing and maintaining accurate technical drawings for manufacturing equipment, production areas, and plant improvement projects.
Primary Responsibilities
· Prepare drawings of production areas, equipment layouts, and plant floor plans.
· Update drawings when equipment is installed, moved, or modified.
· Prepare layouts for equipment installations and plant improvement projects.
· Work with engineers and project teams to document plant and equipment changes.
· Maintain accurate records of drawings, layouts, and technical documents.
· Check drawings for accuracy using site measurements and information from engineering staff.
· Ensure drawings meet company standards and project requirements.
Requirements of Position:
· High school diploma is required.
· College diploma or university degree is considered an asset.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in drafting or technical drawing.
· Experience preparing technical drawings in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong asset.
Compensation & Conditions:
· $32.50 per hour
· Minimum 30 hours per week
· Overtime may be required and will be paid at 1.5 of your regular hourly rate after 44 hours per week
