Job Summary

As Lead Boot fitter, you’ll work closely with the Assistant Manager and boot fitters to ensure our guests receive the best gear and services so they can enjoy North America’s longest vertical. As the ideal candidate you will have in-depth knowledge and experience with all aspects of fitting including custom beds and sales in a ski/board environment. Always acts professional, provides excellent customer service and leads by example for fellow staff members.

This role is a seasonal, part- time position from November through April, and the successful candidate will be paid wage + commissions.

Essential Job Functions

• Hire, train and schedule boot fitters.
• Provide leadership to the boot fitters.
• Fit guests with ski and snowboard boots
• Evaluate and build custom foot beds.
• Strive to exceed guest expectations.
• May include other responsibilities such as other hard goods sales, inventory counts, and other duties as assigned.
• Manage and maintain systems for customer information
• Oversee stock and assist with boot buy

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Eligible to work in Canada – can provide work permit
• 2+ years’ experience in boot fitting and custom foot beds
• Experience as a lead hand or supervisor will be considered an asset.
• Experience selling hard goods, ski and snowboard equipment.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work independently and are self-sufficient in finding tasks in downtime
• Team player and leads by example acting professional and respectful to team members and guests
