Summary: We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Liquor Store Cashier (Full Time) to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, knowledgeable about liquor and local craft beverages, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Liquor Store Cashier, you will be one of the main points of contact for our customers. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience. Excellent customer service is at the heart of this position. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, answering questions, making recommendations, and ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

The successful candidate will also assist with stocking, merchandising, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and attractive store environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service at all times.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Process cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Verify customer identification and follow all liquor regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked register area and store.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, merchandising, and organizing products.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints in a courteous and helpful manner.

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide valid SIN documentation and work permit
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the liquor or retail industry.
• Valid Serving It Right certificate.
• Knowledge and interest in local craft beverages.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
