Senior Investment Director in Infrastructure

Join the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team as a Senior Investment Director focused on Latin America. This Toronto-based role demands exceptional equity investing skills and leadership. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of substantive experience in direct equity investing or investment banking within the infrastructure domain. You will play a pivotal role in managing portfolios, engaging with management teams for strategy development, and ensuring the execution of investment opportunities tailored for Latin America. Your expertise will enhance long-term relationships across the financial sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and influence portfolio company strategies
- Originate and evaluate infrastructure investments in Latin America
- Lead the equity investment execution process with precision
- Identify key risks associated with investments and manage them
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior investment staff
- 10+ years of experience in investment or banking roles
- 5+ years with a focus on Latin America investments
- Experience in Brazil, Chile, and/or Mexico is beneficial
- Proven financial analysis and project management capabilities
- English fluency required; knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is advantageous
