Construction Director - Infrastructure, Civil & Build

Neo International Partners is leading a confidential search on behalf of a globally recognised infrastructure delivery organisation to identify an experienced Associate Construction Director to support the delivery of major transportation and infrastructure programmes across Canada.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market-leading organisation delivering some of the country's most complex and high-profile infrastructure investments. The business has an established presence across rail, transit, highways, utilities, aviation and major civil infrastructure projects and continues to expand its leadership team to support a significant programme pipeline.

The successful individual will play a key role in managing the development and delivery of complex programmes, building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major infrastructure and construction programmes from inception through to completion.
• Manage programme governance, delivery strategies and performance frameworks aligned to business objectives.
• Drive commercial performance, resource optimisation, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, delivery partners and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure exceptional standards across health & safety, quality, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee programme budgets, financial performance and commercial outcomes.
• Provide strategic leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Champion innovation, digital delivery, sustainability and best practice across programme operations.
• Develop high-performing and inclusive teams whilst mentoring future leaders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure programmes within construction or engineering environments.
• Strong background in rail, transit, highways, utilities, heavy civil infrastructure or large-scale building projects.
• Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management capability.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects valued in excess of £200m / C$350m.
• Comprehensive understanding of programme controls, governance, risk management and project delivery.
• Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within major contractors, infrastructure delivery organisations or programme management environments.
