Our client in the insurance industry is sourcing a senior accountant for a 6-12-month contract. The role is hybrid, based out of Toronto. About the Opportunity
- Supporting the financial reporting for various accounts
- Full cycle accounting
- Preparing journal entries, accruals
- Preparing reconciliations in relation to specific client accounts
- Assisting with month end related tasks
- Assisting with tax and government-related reporting
- Working for VP Accounting regarding any ad hoc requests
- 3 years of P&C insurance industry experience
- Full cycle accounting experience including financial reporting, month end reporting, etc.
- Must be proficient with dealing with a large volume of reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills - vlookups, pivots
