Strategic Commercial Manager

Location: Preferred location is Toronto, ON. Other cities and provinces may be considered.

Summary:

As a Strategic Commercial Manager , you will work to independently drive net new business at prospective accounts using demonstrated selling techniques, entrepreneurial spirit, and proven knowledge of the digital finance industry. Working with key stakeholders and market leaders, you will develop and cultivate sales pipeline across our all of our digital finance service offerings in the Canada market.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Create strategic and tactical plans to cultivate leads at prospective accounts.
• Actively network and execute plans to introduce Clearsulting to prospective clients
• Leverage relationships to introduce Clearsulting at prospective accounts
• Actively facilitate, participate and/or support Finance process and/or system discovery workshops
• Identify opportunities where Clearsulting service offerings can support prospective client initiatives
• Lead pursuit efforts on identified opportunities including scoping, pursuit strategy, negotiations, closing, etc.
• Create sales collateral to support end-to-end pursuit cycles
• Collaborate with Strategic Alliances, Marketing, and Practice team members to drive sales
• Drive the process of working with teams to identify, qualify, and win opportunities
• Create awareness about Clearsulting, build relationships with key executives, and develop/pursue leads
• Influence decision-makers at the highest levels within accounts
• Create, drive, and support sales strategies and marketing campaigns

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a business related field, accounting background a plus
• 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or related role
• Passionate about networking and developing relationships
• Successful track record of sales to CFO organization, specifically within the Digital Finance space
• Understanding of CFO organization leading practices (e.g., month end close, treasury)
• Experience selling high-value, project-based, consulting services, characterized by both large and small dollar transactions, and intangibles
• Experience crafting and executing strategic and tactical plans to close new business at prospective accounts
• Ability to work as a team player in a highly collaborative environment
• Ease in articulating Clearsulting value proposition across all service offerings
• Strong writing, communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record gaining access and influencing decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations
• Familiarity with Canadian business landscape and strong client network
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Willingness and ability to travel
